More than a hundred participants have taken part in the UCA esports Movement Challenges Tournament – Trofeo UCA Muévete X tu Salud of the current academic year 2020-2021, organized by the Sports Area of the Vice Rectorate for Culture, with the collaboration of the Nautical Campus, the Rector’s Office and UCASaludable.

The competition, structured in three editions during the current academic year, comes to an end with the objective of promoting the practice of healthy physical activity, thanks to the more than 96,000 minutes of physical activity achieved among all participants.
The sporting event has given rise to two classifications, one individual and one general by university centers.
In the overall individual classification, the podium was as follows:

• Champion: Miguel Ángel Herrera Isac, from the Escuela Politécnica Superior de Algeciras with a total of 4988 minutes.
• Runner-up: Francisco Javier Delgado González, from the Faculty of Sciences with a total of 3741 minutes.
  

In a very close competition by centers, the Faculty of Education Sciences obtained first place, with a total of 18,786 minutes of accumulated physical activity, followed by the Administrative Units, Departments and the Rector’s Office with 18,173 minutes. Finally, the Faculty of Marine and Environmental Sciences has obtained a meritorious third place, with an accumulated 12,905 minutes.
The two first classified as the greatest contributors of minutes of physical activity within the winning center (Fac. CC. Education) were Daniel Camiletti Moirón with 3,471 minutes and Miguel Ángel García González with 2,957 minutes.
The Sports Department of the Vice-rectorate for Culture thanks all participants for their involvement and collaboration in the competition and congratulates the winning athletes and centers, encouraging all members of the university community to participate in future editions.
