The Vice Chancellor of Culture, José María Pérez Monguió has presented the trophies to the two winning centers of the UCA esport Movement Challenges-Muévete X tu Salud Tournament for the 2020-2021 academic year. With the aim of promoting the practice of healthy physical activity among members of the university community, the competition has registered more than 96,000 minutes of physical activity achieved during the three editions of the current academic year.

In a very close classification by centers, the Faculty of Education Sciences obtained the first position, with a total of 18,786 minutes of accumulated physical activity, followed by the Administrative Units, Departments and the Rector’s Office with 18,173 minutes.

The awards were collected by Lourdes Sánchez Vera, Dean of the Faculty of Education Sciences and by Mariví Martínez Sancho, Manager of the University of Cadiz, representing the Administrative Units, Departments and the Rector’s Office.

This sporting event, organized by the Sports Department of the Vice Rector’s Office for Culture, has had the collaboration of the Nautical Campus, UCASaludable and the Rector’s Office.
