The third race of the UCA Racing League 21/22 has been held

On Thursday, December 2, was held the third round of the UCA Regatta League organized by the Vice Rectorate of Culture through the Nautical Campus and the Sports Area. In this last regatta of the year, eleven Raquero type boats competed in a windward-leeward course over the waters of the Bay of Cadiz. The facilities of the Club Nautico Puerto Elcano hosted the activity that had the collaboration of the Municipal Institute of Sports of the City of Cadiz.

The boat of the skipper Jaime Yrayzoz Roldán (School of Naval and Oceanic Engineering) dominated the race with two first places that gave him the final victory. The boat of skipper Eduardo Llopis Saint-Hilaire (Escuela de Ingeniería Naval y Oceánica) came in second place. Third place went to the raquero skippered by Marta Torres Lijo (Escuela de Ingeniería Naval y Oceánica).

The next race of the UCA 21/22 Regatta League is scheduled to be held on Friday, February 18, 2022.
